Well, itÂ’s mid-July in North Dakota and you know what that means: Raspberries! I spent an hour outside this afternoon in the humidity picking my bushes and now I will enjoy a huge bowl of them in the morning. Sue and I will go through gallons of the little treasures in the weeks to come with nothing but Splenda and fat free Cool Whip to accompany them. Ah, life is good!

When I moved to Minot I swore not to plant anything that took upkeep or needed picking. I must admit that I have been tempted more then once to plant raspberries. Sounds soooo good!!!
I’m eating some at this moment, and they ARE good!
